Setting an Order by Clause for a Maximo Application
The following steps will help you set up an Order By clause in App Designer that will order the records returned in a Maximo application.
Steps:
1.Launch App Designer.
2. Select an application such as WOTRACK.
3.Highlight the table that appears on the List tab by selecting the table header label in this case Work Orders so that the table highlights in green.
4.Select Control Properties.
In the Order By property enters an attribute value to sort by such as: STATUS
Out of the box this is set to WONUM.
5.You can set the order to descending by entering DESC after the attribute selected to sort by, for example WONUM DESC
Save.
